Recently, I went to Menomonee Park for the first time and got a peek at Lannon Quarry, which is very similar to the one at Harrington. Silurian reef deposits are exposed in Quarry Lake Park, Racine, Wisconsin. These rocks consist mainly of inclined flank beds and small areas of reef core. Reef sizes cannot be precisely determined but were probably on the order of hundreds of meters in breadth.
